Informal / Formal and when to use it
Informal conversation is usually between friends and co-workers, generally people that you know or have met before, and it is a more relaxed way to communicate.
Starting a conversation with “What’s up?” with someone that you know, is not uncommon, however, saying this in a job interview perhaps isn’t the best way to start!
It is important that you know the difference between informal and formal conversation, to ensure that you conduct yourself in the best or most appropriate way in certain settings.
