With our “Stay with a Teacher” programme you get more than language classes, you live the language. You learn in the classroom and at home, surrounded by everyday English, local life and one-to-one guidance from your teacher host.
Meet Your Host: Ben Cook
Ben and his partner Norie are the kind of hosts every student hopes to find. They are warm and thoughtful, and they care about making students feel at home.
“There’s something really special about helping someone feel at home while they’re learning and exploring a new country,” says Ben. “We treat every student with kindness and respect, and we hope for the same in return.”
Your Home in Malta
Ben’s apartment is in Swieqi, a quiet, friendly neighbourhood a short walk from the school, St Julian’s and the sea. Cafes, shops and public transport are all close by, so it’s easy to get out and explore Malta.
You’ll have your own private room, the use of shared spaces (kitchen, lounge, bathroom) and everything you need to settle in:

Meals and More
Adult students have breakfast and dinner each day, while younger students are served all meals. Breakfast is usually continental and self-serve, though at weekends Ben and Norie like to make something special.
Dinners are homemade, and there’s flexibility for students who have other plans in the evening.
🚰 Bonus: Bottled water, basic medicine just in case, and a hand with things like doctor visits, directions or anything else that helps you feel at home.
