Why I would choose Malta:
I would choose Malta because I stayed there in summer holidays for 5 weeks and it was the time of my life. I could improve my English and met so many new people. The office staff and the teachers are really great. They made every day funny. Now at home I miss Malta so damn much. To be honest, yesterday I looked for a flight to Malta, but 550€ is so much money for a flight. The next idea to go to Malta is to take the car and drive down to Sicily and drive with the ferry from Catania to Cirkewwa. I know this idea is crazier than to fly to Malta again, but i’m sure if I would drive to Malta, my car would be immediately full of other students. It would be so great to go back to Malta and to have a repeat of this 5 amazing weeks.
le dieci differenze tra Malta e Inghilterra sono:
1 l’immagine del quadro raffigurato della regina Elisabetta d’Inghilterra rispetto a Malta dove a comandare non e’ una donna;
2 ovviamente il clima inglese e’ freddo e piovoso, quello maltese e’ caldo e secco (l’ideale per le persone con allergie come me);
3 dal clima ne deriva ovviamente l’abbronzatura e quindi il colore della pelle rispetto agli inglesi che sono bianchi e pallidi;
4 temperatura del termometro totalmente differente tra i due paesi;
5 gli inglesi sono soliti bere the’ mentre a Malta e’ raffigurato un buon succo all’arancia, che calza a pennello con il caldo;
6 le infradito a Malta, le scarpe pesanti in Inghilterra;
7 gli occhiali da sole sulla scrivania maltese, gli inglesi non possono tanto permetterselo dato la pioggia continua;
8 l’ombrello inglese, molto frequente, mentre a Malta non e’ molto necessario dato che le pioggie sono scarse;
9 la diversa tonalita’ di colori dei due disegni dove quello inglese e’ piu’ scuro rispetto a quello maltese che risulta essere chiaro, (forse dovuto dal riflesso del sole);
10 per ultimo c’e’ il sole nel disegno maltese e il cielo chiaro, in quello inglese e’ un contesto piu’ cupo e nuvoloso.

Why would I want to go to Malta to improve my English?
Because I need to learn this language well in a climate less odious than England!
1) How’s the weather outside? I come from a small city on the adriatic coast…Here most of the time is sunny! So How can I stay in a place where is almost always raining?? MALTA is better!!!
2) In Malta we have €!!! And I don’t have to change my money at the airport, paying a lot in commission!!! I can spend my money easily! MALTA is better!!!
3-4) Sunglasses instead of an umbrella!!! I don’t use an umbrella since 2010! But I always wear my RayBan! So MALTA is better!!!
5) Flip-Flops, (expecially Havaianas) make me feel more confortables and happy!!! I cannot wear boots, otherwise is better if I go to Venice!! MALTA is better!!!
6) Orange juice is tasty and refreshing!! Hot tea is tasteless, and if I put sugar…is not refreshing! So why should I drink hot tea? (But don’t say this to the English people, or they will be very angry!!). MALTA is better
7) Look at the Tan!!! In winter I use to go to the solarium, because I want to be dark! So there isn’t a better place than Malta, where I can have 3000 hours of sun per year! MALTA is better
8) In Malta, as you can see on the wall, you have a president, and there is a republic!! I don’t like to have a king, or a princess, or something like that! We had a king in 1850, but now I think is better a republic! MALTA is better
9) What about the thermometer? I usually have more than 10 degrees, so I can feel very well in your country! And I hate humidity, so I cannot go to England! MALTA is better
10) Malta is hotter, so I can wear a T-shirt! I have a collection of t-shirts, so I can show my collection to my classmates!!! MALTA is better!
In conclusion I prefer Malta in every differences you have found!!! And If I miss my country (but I don’t think so), I can easily reach Sicily!!!From England I really don’t know where to go!!!!!!
MALTA is definetly better for me!!
