When people express their opinions we agree or disagree with what they are saying. There are several ways how we can communicate our agreements or disagreements. Below you’ll find some expressions you can use to agree and disagree;

Expressing total agreement
  • I agree with you one hundred per cent.
  • I couldn’t agree more.
  • I completely agree.
  • That’s so true.
  • Absolutely.
  • Exactly.
Expressing partial agreement
  • I agree with you up to a point.
  • That’s true but…
  •  You could be right.
  • It sounds interesting, but..
Expressing total disagreement
  • I totally disagree.
  • No way! (slang)
  • I’m afraid I can’t agree with you.
  • To be honest..
  • On the contrary.(formal)
  • It’s out of the question.
