マルタで英語を勉強するのは安全ですか？
はい、マルタはとても安全です。外国ですので最低限の注意は必要ですが、夜出歩いても危険を感じることはありません。ただし車の運転が荒いのと、日本と比べ歩道がとても狭いので歩いてる時が一番危険かもしれません。
Is it safe to study English in Malta?
Yes, Malta is very safe. It’s a foreign country, you do need to take basic attention , but you won’t feel in danger even when walking around at night. However, drivers can be aggressive, and the sidewalks are much narrower than Japan, so walking might actually be the most dangerous part.
マルタからヨーロッパを旅行するのは簡単ですか？
とても簡単で安いです。ヨーロッパはLCCがたくさん飛んでいてマルタからもたくさん直行便が飛んでいます。日本と比べるとすごく航空券が安いです。また、ヨーロッパは比較的狭いエリアなので、片道３時間以内でほぼ全てのエリアにアクセスできます。
Is it easy to travel around Europe from Malta?
It’s very easy and cheap. There are many low-cost airlines flying around Europe, and there are lots of direct flights from Malta, too. Compared to Japan, flight tickets are much cheaper. Also, Europe is a relatively small area, so you can reach many destinations in about three hours one way.
マルタリングアの授業では、スピーキングの練習をたくさんしましたか？
はい。授業の半分はスピーキングレッスンだと思います。クラスメイトとのディスカッションやスピーチ、クイズ大会など様々なアクティビティを行います。
Did you practise a lot of speaking in your classes at Maltalingua?
Yes, I think about half of the lessons are speaking-focused. We do various activities like discussions with classmates, speeches, and quiz competitions.
マルタへの英語語学留学に向けて、どのような準備ができますか？
最低限、中学生レベルの英単語、文法は予習するべきだと思います。なぜならヨーロッパの生徒は日本人より語彙力が豊富です。最低限の語彙力があればコミニュケーションも取りやすいです。
How can you best prepare for your English language course in Malta?
I think you should at least review junior high school level vocabulary and grammar. European students usually have a wider vocabulary than Japanese students. If you have a basic level of vocabulary, it’s easier to communicate.
マルタは英語を学ぶのに他の国と比べてどうですか？
私はフィリピンのセブ島とマレーシアでの留学経験がありますが、マルタはヨーロッパに位置しているので、比較的日本人の生徒数も少なく滞在中は英語環境に身を置いて英語力向上に最適でした！
フライトのアクセスも良く、週末に気軽にヨーロッパ旅できるのもマルタ留学の魅力です！
How does Malta compare to other countries to learn English?
I have some experience that I’ve been going to study abroad in Philippines and Malaysia. I can say learning English in Malta is the best! Malta located in Europe so it’s easy to create environments more focused on English, because not many Japanese are there. Also, it’s easy to access to all of the Europe! You can easily travel anywhere on weekends!

How many Japanese students were there in Maltalingua?
I’ve been going to the Maltalingua for 6 months but I’ve met Japanese students less than 10 students.
レストランのマルタ料理はどうでしたか？
地中海に位置していることもあり、魚介類も豊富で美味しいです！また、ワインもリーズナブルなのでお酒が好きな方にはたまらないと思います
What did you think of the Maltese food in the restaurant?
Malta located in the Mediterranean Sea, and of course it’s famous for seafood! Also, wine is very affordable. If you like drinking wines, you will like Malta!
