The second Maltalingua boat party of summer 2026 is pencilled in for Friday 17 July 2026. Peak summer, longest evenings, hottest decks — if there’s a week to be on a gulet off the Maltese coast, this is the one.
Lessons finish at 15:00 that Friday
As with the June sail, classes on Friday 17 July finish at 15:00 so everyone has time to head back, change, and get down to the harbour without a rush. Your teacher will share the exact timetable during the week.
The peak-summer crowd
July is our busiest month, which means the boat is packed with students from every level and every continent. You’ll be on deck with classmates from Italy, Japan, Turkey, Brazil, Germany, Spain, Korea and a dozen more nationalities you didn’t know we taught. Conversations happen in English because it’s the only common ground — and that’s exactly why it works.
You signed up to learn English. You’ll spend a Friday afternoon doing precisely that, without it ever feeling like a lesson.
Bring
- Swimwear and a towel
- Strong sunscreen — July sun at sea is no joke
- A light layer for the evening
- A change of clothes
- Cash for the bar
Food and soft drinks are included. The social-programme team will confirm boarding point and time a few days before.
Studying with us this summer?
The boat party is free for adult students enrolled during this week of teaching. If July is calling — small classes, rooftop pool, EAQUALS-accredited teaching, and a social calendar that runs all summer — get a free quote and we’ll show you exactly what your week would look like.
